You can either stealthily avoid the man inside or take him down. You can either hack the door or use an air vent found in the stairwell to get inside this apartment. This apartment is close to the one with the open door that leads to a weapon dealer. When you leave his apartment for the first time, keep an eye on your map - some floors down in the same apartment building you'll find an apartment that's red on the map. This side mission is available as soon as you gain control of Adam for the first time in Prague.
